Villa Jovita is a riverside pool resort located in Agoncillo, Batangas.
I can say that the entrance fee is okay given that the cottages are free and you can pick any. Expect that the place is under renovation so some of the cottages and the place are not so well maintained.
They also don't serve food so bring your own or you can walk outside the villa. There is a nearby cafeteria where you can order.
The theme park is located behind the villa so you can't find them with the pools. It's separated from the resort itself.
Parking space is huge so there is plenty of space.
Nonetheless, if you are looking for a place to escape the heat of summer. You can visit this place to cool down.
Absolutely loved my family vacation at Villa Jovita Resort! Our stay in the cabin-type loft with a private pool was an absolute dream come true. The resort's attention to detail and commitment to providing a top-notch experience truly set it apart.
The cabin was not only spacious and comfortable but also beautifully designed, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Having our own private pool added an extra layer of luxury and made our stay even more memorable. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind with loved ones.
One of the highlights of Villa Jovita Resort is undoubtedly the abundance of amenities. The common pools were pristine and inviting, offering a refreshing break from the tropical heat. The resort's Instagram-worthy features were a delightful surprise, providing endless opportunities for stunning photos and memories that will last a lifetime.
The staff at Villa Jovita Resort deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our overall experience.
I can't recommend Villa Jovita Resort enough for a family getaway. It's a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and fun, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable vacation. If you're looking for a slice of paradise with all the amenities and Instagram-worthy moments, Villa Jovita Resort is the place to be! #VacationBliss #FamilyTime #VillaJovitaMagic
Very relaxing place! There is a private villa good for 4 to 10 person with private pool. . U can bring food. Good for friends and family wants to stay overnight.
The place is perfect for summer getaway. But I recommend going here on days that are not peak season. You can roam around freely and take photos without photo bombers and distractions.
Best for couple, friends and family outings.
You can bring your own tent and pitch there but there is a corkage.
Haven't tried overnight stay but I think it is nice to try so you can do star gazing.
There is enough parking space.
We had a really great stay in one of the private rooms. We had a private pool which was lovely. Would be nice to have more food options but we were brought breakfast each day and could get jollibee delivered. The natural water pools were nice but some were very cold. Hobbiton and Bali corner are great for some photos with beautiful views but the spots aren't super comfy so wouldn't want to spend much time there. The room was small but nice. Noise restrictions after 10pm but be prepared to wake up early to dogs barking, roosters calling and music from across the river. As an Australian it was very saddening to see that they had 4+ small breed dogs in a small cage that were barking frequently though it seemed like small dogs in cages was relatively common in that area. Still sad to see. Overall really nice and relaxing stay.
They have an instagrammable place but I think it's too pricey if you're just going to take pics there and swimming is still not included in 250 pesos. The restroom sucked and it smelled. Although the staff is nice, I hope they guided us so we were able to visit all of the sites inside.
There's one pool, goes up to 5-6 feet (I'm estimating) then a section of it is for kids. There is a tree nearby so expect a few fallen leaves floating on the pool when it's windy. Rooms are clean but a bit small(dunno about the others), bathrooms are well maintained. The outdoors are refreshing, there are several spots that are great for photography. I would watch my kids when playing though, since some swings and ladders(one is a little too high to climb) around the area are not too safe for them to be left alone playing with. There is a small store outside the resort if you need to buy snacks or whatever.
Moderately expensive. Swimming resort with mini Bali-inspired corner, Hobbiton, and a few IG frames. Came here on a Daytour and it's 250 pesos for discounted pics, whether senior or not, it's the same rate from the original 340 pesos. Add 150 pesos for swimming. The rates are likely lower because they're doing repairs and it's really in need of fixing. The photo spots are rustic and provincial in feeling.
If you came for IG photos, half of the spots are against the light at 9am and you need a powerful camera or setting that can handle it. Since we're using the automatic setting of our ordinary android phones, the shots facing against the sun was unfortunately bad, from the heart and other frames to the bridge and river and the giant swing, I think it was an epic fail that the spot wasn't moved and rearranged. You must come before 9 am to maximize the photo area worth 250 pesos.
The good half of the spots are the giant nests, Hobbiton, bamboo, and areas away from the sun.
If you came for swimming, it's old and under repair, so it may not be so appealing. We didn't try it, but there's a slide in the pool for kids.
The restrooms are quite stressful to use ambiance-wise, without locks and rusty, obviously because the repairs aren't done yet. But at least it's clean.
There's no canteen at the time we came. If you want water, either bring it before you come or buy one outside. They can also buy you one small bottle if you give 50 pesos as a favor.
All in all, other attractions are cheaper than this villa, but if you want to take a break or really want those nice IG pics, I recommend an earlier time from sunrise to before the sun is high because of the against the light setting.
As far as safety, so far it felt safe, we just left our large bags on the table while we went around in smaller bags and people were all trusting. Not much visitors either so it's quiet. We still enjoyed the 2-hour break from 9am-11am, but pics by 10am are impossible with the sun.
